Based in Fabulous Las Vegas:

Kevin Barber on guitar and vocals, John P. York on upright bass, and Steve Clark on drums, unite to create the incomparable foundation of the Kevin Barber Band. This contemporary American Roots band combines influences from country masters like Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, and Chet Atkins with the rich sounds of classic greats Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and Frank Sinatra, mixed with a touch of Elvis Presley and Django Reinhardt, to create a unique music genre they call 'Hillbilly Jazz.' Their diverse repertoire of music ranges from familiar classics to impressive originals. The band is volume aware and family friendly.

John P. York on upright bass... He began his professional career in the mid-1970s and has backed the likes of country music's Grand Ole Opry Star, Bill Anderson as well as Roy Rogers, Jr. and The High Riders. He has shared the stage with Muddy Waters, Mose Allison and Roomful of Blues. Kevin Barber on guitar and vocals... Kevin has been writing and recording music since his youth. He has toured and performed throughout the country, from New York and Nashville to Los Angeles and Portland. His last cd, BURN, partially recorded at famous Sun Studios in Memphis, was released in 2007. He is currently based in Fabulous Las Vegas and continues to tour throughout the US. Kevin is working on his next cd to be released in early 2009. Steve Clark on drums... His first major tour was with the USO in 1973. By 1974, Steve was backing Sam the Sham, The Coasters, Donnie Brooks (Mission Bell), and Bobby Day (Rockin' Robin). He continued with drums sharing the stage with many artists including Tom Petty, The Clash, and Bo Diddley.
